I am looking for a team environment where I can contribute ideas and designs to help build great websites and applications. I have enjoyed my time working with Argento but I feel the time is right to move on to develop into a better web designer by working on various projects for different clients in different markets, this is the challenge I seek.

I'd be coming on board as a middle weight front ender and can hit the ground running. Willing to work on a freelance basis initially for a trial period.

A brilliant problem solver who has no issue with unsocialable hours to get projects completed or if we are on a roll strike while we're hot.

I have really improved my design skills this past couple of years paying attention to illustrator and photoshop to focus on type, character design and web site aesthetics then transfer the work into Dreamweaver to put on the web.

Put me in a team with a good art director to guide me coupled with fellow creatives to bounce ideas off and I'll be in my element confident of producing excellent work.

I have built into my workflow to take all my mock ups from Photoshop and make working prototypes to gain realistic feedback on any solution I create.

I do alot of reading, mostly work related materials but if I have the time I like biographies usually ones based on my music heroes.

I first got interested in websites and design around 2002 (yes, that long ago.)while attending Queen's doing software engineering. I didn't really like a majority of SE but the modules on web I found really interesting and although I left I still pursued a career in web design and front end development.

Why get involved in both? Well I not only like to design websites but I like to know the technical side so I have a full understanding of the process and know what technologies work best for the job.

Having a strong interest in graphic design I wanted to find course that I could attend and learn more about print media and improve as a designer. Visual Communication provided me with the perfect mix of modules to learn from and has really helped me become a better designer.

I came in the top 3 in my year due to a strong final project based on website development which proves that my approach to projects can be effective.
